Bales Of Hay Turned Pumpkins!

This weekend truly was the mad rush to get everything ready before the mad rush. Arguably one of the most important parts of getting ready – besides picking all of the pumpkins of course – is painting the trademark bales! They can’t help but put a smile on your face. You can’t miss them as you drive down Hwy 83 between Mukwonago and Genesee.

Which bale is your favorite? – let us know – leave a comment

Do you have fun pictures of you and your family with bales from previous years? Email them to us ( – we’ll try to post them.

The bales are great. Is there a particular kind of paint you use so the bales can later be fed to cattle?

    mhill –
We don’t use a special kind of paint. At the end of October we end up cutting off all the paint and using the bale as bedding. It’s kind-of a hassel but worth it because the bales are so fun to have displayed!
