Here’s the nitty gritty:
Beginning Friday November 23rd (the day after Thanksgiving) we are officially open for Christmas Trees!!
We will have the following types of trees:
We will have a wide variety of shapes and sizes – come early because the trees really do move fast!
We will also have wreaths again this year in 8″, 24″, 30″, 36″, 48″, and 60″ diameters.
More information about each type of tree and proper tree care will follow soon – with plenty of pictures. Let us know if you have any questions – check back soon for more details!
We use it as decoration, either in a tall vase or hung upside-down on the wall. It is typically grown for all different uses – mainly for bird seed.
Just wanted to share a few quick shots of a couple scarecrows. We have a ton of scarecrows hanging out around the farm – we’ll have to share more later.
These are edible! We’ve never tried it though…. does anyone have a recipe? Otherwise we just use these green pumpkins for decorations.
These pumpkins are handmade out of steel tractor discs!
For those of you who don’t have large spaces to decorate these might be perfect. We have Strawberry-Pop-Corn as well as Mini-Indian-Corn .
While most flowers are closing up for the fall mums are just starting – in all different colors!
Mums will continue to bloom throughout September and October. Then in November you should cut back all the old growth and cover your mums with soil until April. During the summer they just need to be fertilized, and occasionally pinched back so they keep their compact bushy form before they begin to bloom again. We have more info at the farm about how to care for your mums.
With some creative thinking corn stalks are good for more than just decorating your light post or for getting lost in…
